Our timeless Benedetti is named after the infamous Scottish-Italian classical solo violinist and festival director, Nicola Joy Nadia Benedetti. Benedetti is said to be a child prodigy, as she began playing the violin at the age of four and by eight was leading the National Children’s Orchestra of Great Britain. By the time she was 10, Nicola was off studying at the world-famous Yehudi Menuhin School in Surrey. Today she is one of the world’s finest and most in-demand young musicians. Her legacy includes the Benedetti Foundation, which is a music education charity established in 2019 by the violinist herself.
